My journey with Young Living essential oils began 12/28/13 when I received my premium starter kit. The very next day I was HOOKED! Now less than two months later I will hit the road for Kingsport, Tennessee to take a CARE Intensive course, February 21-23rd. I am so thankful to God and for the support of my husband for this opportunity to learn more about these essential oils. The three days of classes include:
Healing Oils of the Bible
Applied Vitaflex (foot)
Raindrop Technique (a type of aromatherapy where the oils are dropped along the spine using YL essential oils.)
Chemistry of Essential Oils (God’s love manifested in molecules)
Emotional Release
Completion of the Bible oils class I will be able to cite books of the Old and New Testaments containing information on essential oils as well as their Biblical and modern applications, & be able to do a Biblical anointing.
The applied Vitaflex Class I'll be learning to perform 13 Vitaflex Procedures, understand the scientific basis for Vitaflex, & to know when and to whom to apply them, also what benefits can be expected from their application.
Ahhh...with the Raindrop Technique. I have been amazed at what I’ve been reading about this type of therapy. I am looking forward to using this on my own family. I'll be able to perform the entire Raindrop protocol, understand its limits and precautions, & benefits. This class will lead to me becoming a Certified Raindrop Practitioner. (those with fibromyalgia and scoliosis are just some who benefit from the Raindrop Technique)
The CARE Chemistry Class...I'll gain a scientific understanding of how the compounds of essential oils reach to cellular levels & how they bring therapy to the various organs and tissues of the body. (I have ALWAYS wanted to know the “why & how” to everything.) This is all so interesting I just can’t stand the wait.
Emotional Release Class...I'll be able to correlate physical maladies with repressed emotions, to use essential oils to locate emotional issues stored in the cells of the body, and will know how to release them for myself and others. I will be sharing my experience once I am home and can apply them to our daily lives. By the way, my first test subject will be my daughter, Laura. I’ll keep you posted!

Update: Those classes were amazing and my whole family has benefitted from the Raindrop as well as several friends. My daughter’s scoliosis is much better and she was 3/4” taller after her first Raindrop. One client has a more severe case of scoliosis and was 1 1/4” taller after his first Raindrop! I actually saw his back straighten out with one shoulder blade coming down more even with the other.
My 17 year old son has now learned to perform Raindrop. He said, “Mom I need to learn this so someone can perform it on you.” Precious!
I also went to Florida this Summer for Aromatherapy Certification courses. Blending for synergy has rocked my world and I now teach this for free to my Young Living downline and my kids...passing it on to the next generation! We can now create a blend that can treat 2-3 issues (all in one blend!!)
Hearing how these blends have worked successfully is the true blessing!
