This roll-on is easy to carry along where ever you go and will pass through airport security when traveling by air. It relieves muscle tension and soreness. It soothes sore joints and ligaments, calms stressed nerves. It reduces inflammation too! Here is the list of the nine oils in this blend and what they do...
Peppermint- relieves surface pain and tension of the neck and head. It also helps “push” the other oils deeper in. Peppermint is also used for stomach issues and fever.
Lemon- is stimulating and invigorating. A 1995 Mie (Japan) University study found that citrus fragrances boosted immunity, induced relaxation, and reduced depression. ~Essential Oils Pocket Reference Book
Idaho Balsam Fir- Oh how I love the scent of this one! I sometimes put a drop in my water and I love to diffuse it because aromatically it is grounding, stimulating to the mind and relaxing to the body. I will wear this oil like a perfume! I have always loved all the evergreen scents! When in Colorado I would carry a piece of Ponderosa Pine bark around because the scent is so amazing. Having a real Christmas tree makes me happy simply because of the scent. Ok let me get back on track. Idaho Balsam Fir is great for soothing muscular and rheumatic pain.
Copaiba- This oil has the highest in anti-inflammatory properties. It is also used to reduce muscle spasms. It is so mild and gentle you can put a drop onto a baby bird. My 21 year old daughter, Laura will put a drop under her tongue for headaches. No dilution necessary.
Clove- Yea buddy! Clove was used by Dentist for over 500 years for it’s numbing qualities. It is a natural anesthetic. It is also one of the oils in the popular blend, Thieves. It is a powerful antioxidant, analgesic and anti-inflammatory. How many of these oils in the Deep Relief blend is anti-inflammatory anyways? No wonder it is so awesome at giving relief!
Wintergreen- Alrighty! Here’s another anti-inflammatory winner. Wintergreen is also antispasmodic. It reduces all types of pain folks! Young Living’s Wintergreen is REAL and can be taken internally. I take one drop myself added to other oils in a capsule daily. Take caution with any products from other companies that have wintergreen listed as one of the ingredients. Most are artificial wintergreen and it can kill! There was an Olympic Athlete who died, back in the 90’s from using to much BenGay because BenGay has fake wintergreen.
Helichrysum- Wow! That is what I say! This oil can regenerate tissue. What? How? I need to do more research on this. It improves circulation, too, and relieves pain.
Vetiver- Oh yes, another oil that is anti-inflammatory. It also relieves symptoms of arthritis. Most people say they do not like the smell of this one but I super love it! It is one of the oils in a trio used for ADHD. I use it for focus and apply to the third eye area.
Palo Santo- This oil is similar to frankincense. It can be used to cleanse and purify the spirit from negative energies therefore it is sometimes used in “Emotional Release” that was part of the CARE Intensive course I took back in February. More on Emotional Release will appear in a future blog post. By the way, there is also an oil blend called Release!
So there you have it...some information on the nine oils in the blend Deep Relief. It happens to be one of the free oils offered this month too if you are a wholesale member and order a certain amount. Love the freebies! Love these essential oils that give us emotional and physical healing.
